When Duke was 13, his mom introduced him to an app called GarageBand on a little, old white laptop.
He was captivated. So much so that Duke got lost in the labyrinths of rhythms, effects, and sounds for hours, days, and weeks at a time. Enjoying the potential to be wildly experimental and create an external soundscape for his internal world, he made all sorts of fun, interesting, genre-bending songs, that he regularly shared with his enthusiastic family.
I think I’m made for this!
